After finishing its run in theaters, ‘120 Bahadur’ is now all set for its digital release. The history-based war drama starring Farhan Akhtar was released in cinemas on November 21, 2025. The movie received less attention from the audiences. The movie is expected to get a much wider viewership after the OTT release.

According to reports from Free Press Journal, ‘120 Bahadur’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 16, 2026. The film will be available only on this platform for subscribers. The OTT release is happening almost two months after the theatrical release. The timing is also special, as it comes just before Republic Day.
Box office numbers and performance
‘120 Bahadur’ did not perform strongly at the box office despite being one of the most talked-about films of 2025. The film earned close to Rs 20 crore during its theatrical run. The film earned around Rs 17.85 crore net in India in 14 days, according to the Sacnilk website. The worldwide collection stood at about Rs 23.60 crore. The overseas earnings were around Rs 2.00 crore. The India gross collection was Rs 21.60 crore.
ETimes verdict
The film is directed by Razneesh Ghai and stars Farhan Akhtar, Raashi Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, and Ankit Siwach in key roles.ETimes review read, “Farhan Akhtar channels a rugged intensity and even alters his vocal pitch and body language, stepping into a dramatic zone that he’s not known for.” It also mentioned that while he was effective in parts, the role did not feel fully natural for him. About the rest of the cast, the review said, “The supporting cast comprising Eijaz Khan, Vivan Bhatena, Ajinkya Deo, Raashi Khanna, Sparsh Walia, and Ankit Siwach, despite its promise, is given far too little to explore.” It added that editing issues and flat music affected the film.
