HYDERABAD: A 21-year-old woman died after being attacked by a tiger in Kumarambheem Asifabad district. The tiger attacked the woman while she was picking cotton in a field in Kagaznagar. The incident occurred on Friday. Other women who were working in the fields ran to safety after the tiger attacked Lami.
Hoping that she would survive, the villagers took her to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
The villagers have demanded that the forest department provide compensation to the family of the victim who died in the tiger attack.
Forest department officials are monitoring the tiger’s movements and have alerted the villagers, asking them to remain cautious. The woman did not notice the tiger’s movement as she bent down to pick cotton in the field.
