The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the UGC NET December 2024 examination on January 31, 2025. Candidates can raise objections until February 3, 2025. Those who appeared for the exam can visit the official website, i.e., ugcnet.nta.ac.in to check the provisional answer key and submit objections if needed. The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India.
The examination covered 85 subjects and was held on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21, and 27, 2025.As of January 31, 2025, NTA has published the provisional answer key along with the question paper and recorded responses for all candidates. If a candidate is unsatisfied with the provisional answer key, they can challenge it online by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question.

Candidates can follow these steps to check and challenge the UGC NET December 2024 answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key” link.
Step 3: Log in using your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security pin.
Step 4: View your response sheet and the provisional answer key.
Step 5: Click the “Challenge” button for the specific question(s) you wish to contest.
Step 6: Upload any necessary supporting documents as a single PDF file.
Step 7: Submit your challenge after reviewing it, and make the payment.
Step 8: Once the payment is successful, the challenge is officially submitted.
Candidates can click on this link to check the provisional answer key and raise objections.
