Sunita Ahuja reacts to trolls as she clarifies her stance on divorce rumours with Govinda: 'Kuttey hai log bhaukenge'

Amid ongoing speculation about their relationship, Govinda and wife Sunita Ahuja have finally addressed rumours of separation. While it was confirmed by their lawyer Lalit Bindal that Sunita had filed for divorce a few months ago, he added that the issues have since been resolved. The couple, he assured, are very much together.
Sunita addresses trolling with strong words
In an interview with ABP News, Sunita Ahuja opened up about the trolling she has faced and clarified her stance on the divorce rumours. She said that even though people spoke negatively, she chose to take it positively. “Positive hai ya negative hai. Positive hai mujhe pata hai. Mai sochti hu kuttey hai log bhaukenge,” she said, referring to people who constantly speculate. She added that unless someone hears anything directly from her or Govinda, they shouldn’t assume anything about their relationship.
Sunita further emphasized that she feels blessed to have a loving husband and two beautiful children. “Jab tak aap mere ya Govinda ke mu se kuch na sunlo toh aap yeh mat socho kya hai kya nai hai,” she said, reiterating that public gossip doesn’t affect her.
Sunita wants Yashvardhan to carve his own identity
Talking about their son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s upcoming Bollywood debut, Sunita shared that she has always encouraged him to create his own identity and not live in his father’s shadow. While Yash has worked as an assistant director on films like Dishoom, Baaghi, and Kick 2, she recalled telling him, “Maine bola tum khud Yashvardhan banke dikhao. Govinda banke mat dikhao. Govinda apne jagah hai uske jaise koi hoga bhi nai.”

Sunita also mentioned that their daughter Tina is busy with collaborations and carving her own path in the industry. She added that she had taken a Navratri vrat for both her children, abstaining from grains.

Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindal confirmed that the couple had travelled to Nepal together recently, performing puja at the Pashupatinath temple during New Year. He said they are not living separately and that Govinda occasionally stays at a bungalow he got for work after becoming an MP. “Such things happen between couples,” the lawyer said, “but they are strong and will always be together.”
