Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya made his OTT debut with the thriller drama web series ‘Dhootha‘. The actor is reportedly set to return to the digital space.
As per a report from OTT Play, this time, he is expected to be teaming up with filmmaker and screenwriter Deva Katta, who is known for his sharp storytelling and is currently writing dialogues for SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited ‘SSMB29’.
Deva Katta teases new web series
Deva Katta’s is his recent social media post, revealed his upcoming web series, ‘Mayasabha‘. The director shared that the first season will have a total runtime of 400 minutes and is expected to premiere in the last quarter of 2025. While Deva Katta teased that he would be directing his favorite actor, he didn’t announce the name of the actor.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “As an answer to some queries….been enjoying making 400 minutes of #MAYASABHA Season 1 which is in final mix, slated to stream last quarter of this year. Also scripting to Direct one of my most favourite Actor/Star.”
‘Mayasabha’ is described as a political crime drama with a realistic approach. An official announcement from the makers is expected soon.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya’s film career is also on a high. His recent release, ‘Thandel‘, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and co-starring Sai Pallavi, was a box office hit and received praise for its storytelling and strong performances.
Looking ahead, Chaitanya is gearing up for his next big-screen venture, tentatively titled ‘NC24’, directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. The project, announced last year on the actor’s birthday, is expected to be a mythical thriller.
On the personal front, Naga Chaitanya got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala in Hyderabad in December 2024.
