NEW DELHI: The ministry of home affairs on Saturday amended the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, granting increased authority to the lieutenant governor.
The MHA has notified the amended rules under Section 55 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, introducing new sections that enhance the powers of the lieutenant governor.
