Bollywood star Aamir Khan recently shed light on his upcoming film, which is an adaptation of the epic saga ‘Mahabharat’. The actor had earlier spoken about the film and how he intends to explore the narrative in a different way and on a grand scale.Aamir about Mahabharat When asked about the project in an interview with ABP Live, Aamir shared, “Mahabharat is a dream of mine—one I hope to bring to life, but it’s a very difficult dream. Mahabharat will never let you down, but you might let Mahabharat down. That’s why I’m treading carefully. Once my current film is released, I can begin working on it. I’m trying my best—let’s see how things unfold. It’s such a massive project that I don’t want to say much right now.”Aamir’s favourite characterThe actor also spoke about the emotional connection he feels with certain characters from the epic. When asked which character he would love to play in the movie, Aamir replied, “The character of Krishna inspires me—that’s the character I truly love.”

Earlier, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aamir had spoken about the casting of the film and added that he is waiting to finalise who would be appropriate for the roles. He also shared that the film may require more than two parts, as it is a vast story. Additionally, he hinted at involving two directors to lead the project due to its large scale.Upcoming movies On the work front, Aamir is now gearing up for the release of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which is a sequel to his 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’. It also stars Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles and is scheduled for release on June 20.
