Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 17: Ajay Devgn starrer sees good growth on third Saturday as total collections inch closer to Rs 145 crore mark |

Date:

Ajay Devgn’s crime drama Raid 2 continues its steady march at the box office, showing impressive growth on its third Saturday. According to the latest data from Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 4.15 crore on Day 17, taking its total net collection in India to approximately Rs 143.50 crore. After a powerful opening week with collections totalling Rs 95.75 crore, the film experienced a predictable dip in Week 2, earning Rs 40.6 crore. However, Raid 2 has managed to hold its ground in Week 3, beginning with a respectable Rs 3 crore on Friday and witnessing a solid jump on Saturday with an overall 24.41% Hindi Occupancy rate at theatres. Despite facing stiff competition from two major Hollywood releases — Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Final Destination: Bloodlines — the Ajay Devgn-led film has proven its box office resilience. Tom Cruise’s action extravaganza The Final Reckoning opened to a phenomenal Rs 17.50 crore on Saturday, while the horror entry Bloodlines raked in an estimated Rs 6.1 crore.Yet, Raid 2 remains a strong domestic performer, continuing to draw audiences even in its third week. With Sunday’s numbers still to come, the film is now just a step away from crossing the Rs 145 crore milestone — a remarkable feat in today’s competitive box office environment. If the current momentum continues, Raid 2 could soon enter the Rs 150 crore club by the end of its third week, cementing its status as one of the most successful Bollywood franchises and among the highest earning Bollywood films of the year.
