Chhattisgarh man detained for trying to enter Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments home in Bandra | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: A 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh was detained by Mumbai Police on Wednesday after he tried to enter Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, claiming he was a fan and had come to meet the actor.According to police, the man first showed up at the main gate of Galaxy Apartment in the morning, where a constable posted at the entrance stopped him. Angered by the denial, the man threw his mobile phone on the ground and smashed it.Later around 7.30pm, the same man returned and blocked a car of a building resident to gain entry. He managed to enter the premises and tried to run towards the building, but was intercepted by police on duty at the entry gate.He was taken to Bandra police station and booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).“He was stopped at the main gate itself. He did not enter the actor’s house,” a senior police officer said.
