Why Gen Z is protesting in Nepal?
Things took an unfortunate turn in Nepal after the government reportedly banned 26 popular social media sites, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and more. The ban came after the platforms failed to comply with the directive issued by the Supreme Court to regulate social media. However, this decision didn’t go down well with the youth of Nepal, and things escalated to a level of violence.
