Sunjay Kapur’s widow, Priya Sachdev, and his former spouse, actress Karisma Kapoor, are fighting over the late industrialist’s reported Rs 30000 crore estate. And as per a new report, during a hearing, which was held recently in Delhi High Court, Priya slammed Karisma, saying that the businessman had left her years ago.

According to the Hindustan Times report, the clash took place during the hearing after Karisma’s kids with Sunjay alleged that the late industrialist’s will had been compromised and Priya was responsible for the same. Samaira and Kiaan had appealed in the court to seek their share in their late father’s estate.
As per the report, during the hearing, Miss Sachdev’s lawyer accused the actress of being away from the late businessman’s life for the last 15 years. Through her advocate, Priya accused Karisma of suddenly coming back into their life after his demise. The legal team also stressed the fact that Priya is Sunjay’s legal wife.Rajiv shared, “I am his legal wife. The claims of love and affection—where was all this when they fought prolonged divorce legal battles in the Supreme Court?” The advocate further added, “Your husband left you several years ago.”While making this point, the legal counsel was referring to the actress and Sunjay’s divorce in 2016. Reportedly, she had accused him of domestic and substance abuse.

Karisma Kapoor’s kids, Priya Sachdev and Kapur’s mother, Rani Kapur, are contesting to secure the massive estate left by the industrialist.Recently, Karisma’s kids, Samaira and Kiaan Kapoor, appealed to the Delhi High Court to demand a share in their late father’s fortune. In their plea, they accused Priya of changing the will of Sunjay. They stated that their father had “repeatedly assured” them of their share in the fortune. However, the will said otherwise.For the unversed, Priya, at a family meeting that took place on July 30, presented the will, executed on March 21, 2025. The suit filed after the same also demanded an injunction of transfer or disposal of the property.Meanwhile, the court has also asked the widow of Sunjay Kapur to disclose all the assets of the late businessman. As per the report, the matter is now scheduled for a hearing on October 9.
