In an interview with Zane Lowe on YouTube, Ed Sheeran shared his experience of visiting various countries and exploring their cultures. Recalling his recent trip to India for ‘Sapphire’, the singer said that he was in the country just to shoot for the song video. He stated that they roamed all over the country to shoot a little bit of everywhere. He said, “I love that every hundred miles, the culture, language, food, fashion, rhythms, and all of it changed.The international singer said that wherever they went, there was always something more interesting. He added that there were so many talents “that have existed for decades that you would not know about.”

The singer talked about Shah Rukh’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. Talking about the film, he said, “This is a weird analogy, but it is almost like introducing ‘Star Wars’ to someone for the first time, and they just go like, ‘What the f** is this?’ There are superstars in the same country singing in different languages.”

According to the reports, Ed Sheeran spent around a month in India to shoot the music video with Arijit Singh for ‘Sapphire’. The song is a part of his eighth studio album, ‘Play’.During the interview, he was all praises for the country and called his trip to India and collab with Arijit “the most amazing days in my musical career.”
