This came days after Anurag’s estranged brother Abhinav Kashyap criticized Salman, calling him unfocused on acting and vindictive. Anurag and Salman’s past issues include his removal from directing ‘Tere Naam’ over a creative dispute.

Salman Khan showed his excitement for Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming movie, ‘Nishaanchi.’ On Saturday, he shared a video on his Instagram stories where he reacted to the film’s poster. Alongside him was Sonakshi Sinha, and together they admired the Nishaanchi poster as Salman cheered, saying, “Yayyy.Video caption highlights good wishesThe actor mentioned Kashyap and the cast of the film in his video caption, naming newcomers Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto. He stated that Salman is considered the father of the star system in Bollywood, coming from a film family with a 50-year legacy in the industry, and that he continues this process. Kashyap revealed that he was initially meant to direct Salman’s film ‘Tere Naam’ but was removed from the project after requesting that the actor grow chest hair. He said, “I got fired from a film because I asked the hero (Salman Khan) to grow chest hair. I wrote the film, and after writing it, I was asked to leave Tere Naam.” When explaining his demand, Kashyap told Samdish Bhatia, “The film was based in Agra/Mathura. Have you ever seen people shaving their chest hair there? So, yes, I was making Tere Naam.”
