For decades, Bollywood fans have dreamed of seeing Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan share screen space in a film project and new director on the block, Aryan Khan managed to do just that.While he didn’t quite put the three Khans in the same frame, the debutant filmmaker pulled off the next best thing and managed to cast the three in cameos in his new web series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. The three stars coming together for the project sent fans into a tizzy when the series’ trailer dropped online. Salman Khan’s Cameo
Interestingly, Bobby Deol shared how Aryan managed to rope in the industry’s biggest stars. “They knew it was his son’s first venture, so they were all ready to do it,” he said in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. While addressing Salman’s camero appearance, he said, “In fact, Salman (Khan) just came to the shoot that day. He wasn’t supposed to be around. He just came, did that shot and he left,” Bobby said in an interview.
Aamir Khan’s Cameo
Anya Singh, who also stars in the new series, revealed another behind-the-scenes surprise involving Aamir Khan. “It was written on the spot. Aryan wrote it on the spot because we were shooting, and Aamir sir and Rajamouli sir were shooting an ad. He got to know and he said, ‘Ok, we’re gonna do this.’ He just thought of all of it over there, and we went, changed and came back, and the Idli Sambaar and Vadapav scene happened,” she said in an interview with Shravan Shah.The show also features Aryan’s father, Shah Rukh in an extended cameo. Fans have been swooning over the young director’s portrayal of his superstar dad and adding a dash of wit, humour and playfulness to his role.
