‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has officially wrapped filming after a long 5-month shoot with its ensemble cast. The update comes amidst rumours that the film would wrap up production this week. It was followed by numerous posts from crew members, sharing photos and videos of their ‘goodies’ and ‘Doomsday’ merch. These included T-shirts, posters, caps, jackets, with the film’s logo as well as artwork of Doctor Doom. Sharing images they revelaed that the merch was given upon the conclusion of filming.

About Avengers: Doomsday shoot

Production on ‘Doomsday’ began in April 2025. With over 5 months of shooting, and 14 months for post-production work, this is said to be a standard timeline for an Avengers movie. According to ScreenRant, both ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ each took between five and six months to film, while cast members were called back for re-shoots. The blockbuster now heads into post-production for the next 14 months. The film that is rumoured to be high on VFX, and CGI-driven sequences, will now fine-tuning the film.

Cast and release date

Set to release in theatres worldwide on December 18, 2026, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is expected to be one of Marvel’s biggest cinematic events in recent years, bringing together a massive cast of heroes and villains in the next chapter of the MCU’s Multiverse saga. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, as well as Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh, Hannah John-Kamen, and David Harbour. Several other Marvel heros are expected to make a return in the upcoming film.
