TRICHY: As part of the National Handloom Day on August 7, the department of posts and the department of handloom will open a handloom exhibition at Trichy head post office on August 6 (Tuesday).
Exhibition cum sale will also be conducted at the Thuraiyur head post office in the district.
Postal department officials said that the exhibition would showcase several collections of handloom products, particularly handloom saris.
A stall will be opened for the exhibition cum sales at the head post office campus on the Bharathiyar Road. The stall will be open between 10am and 4pm.
The sales will conclude on Wednesday (August 7). The exhibition offers a 20% discount for the public, officials added.
