Amitabh Bachchan turns 83 in a week – and the celebration transcended from a birthday cake to dedicating it to what he achieved in his life as a prolific actor. While the iconic dialogues are embedded in the minds of multiple generations, the veteran actor recreating those lines will always be special.

The episode shot on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati,’ celebrating Big B’s birthday, will see guests Javed Akhtar and his renowned son, Farhan Akhtar. While the episode has not been telecast, the promo clip went viral for the special shout-out to the ultimate collaboration of the 1970s. Bachchan recited the dialogue of ‘Zanjeer’ in front of the audience, prompting a loud cheer and applause.
“Jab tak baithne ko naa kaha jaaye, sharafat se khade raho. Yeh police thaana hai, tumhare baap ka ghar nahi (Stand up till you’re not asked to sit. This is a police station, not your father’s house),” he said, as the Akhtars sat on the hot seats. As he delivered the iconic line, they were astonished by his flair. Meanwhile, Bachchan cut a delicious cake with the guests, as shared in the clip of the upcoming episode. The episode will be aired on October 10, 2025, at 9 p.m.
