Actress Parvathy recently took to Instagram to recall her time working with the late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.Sharing a snap with the Kannada superstar, the ‘Ullozhukku’ actor wrote, “Absolute gem! I got the chance to do two really amazing movies with him.” The post came during a Q&A session where fans asked her about Puneeth, who tragically passed away on October 29, 2021, following a heart attack.
First encounter and on-set experiences
In an earlier conversation with TNM, Parvathy recalled meeting Puneeth when she was just 18 or 19 during a photo shoot for the film Milana. She said, “Suddenly this superstar came in and everyone was saying ‘Appu has come’, ‘Appu Anna has come’.” She said that all she can remember at present is how amazingly gentle, warm and comfortable Puneeth made her for the photo shoot.
Talking about her work on the film ‘Milana’ and later ‘Prithvi’, she shared, “He used to laugh a lot, he used to find ways of making things light.” The Mollywood actress added that Puneeth would help her with Kannada.”But mostly we shared the most easy chemistry onscreen and offscreen,” Parvathy said.In the same interview, Parvathy emphasized Puneeth’s qualities that made him special, saying, “He was punctual, he always was very aware of holding space for everyone on set.” As said by Parvathy, the Kannada superstar would genuinely check in on others and he made it very easy for her to perform the songs and dances by cracking jokes.

Meanwhile, Parvathy Thiruvothu was last seen in the drama movie ‘Her’ which received decent reviews. The actress was also seen in the Vikram starrer ‘Thangalaan’ where her role received much love from the audiences. Parvathy will be next seen in the investigative film ‘Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar’.
