Great news for ‘Baahubali’ enthusiasts! Director SS Rajamouli has announced an exciting new film, ‘Baahubali: The Eternal War,’ set to dazzle audiences as a 3D animated spectacle with a robust budget of Rs 120 crore. The teaser will make its debut during the intermission of the freshly remastered ‘Baahubali: The Epic,’ which premieres today.

‘Baahubali: The Epic’ has hit the theaters today on October 31, 2025. The makers have merged the previous two films into one and released the remastered version. And now, its director, SS Rajamouli, has confirmed another ‘Baahubali’ film in a recent interview.

In a promotional interview with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, SS Rajamouli surprised franchise fans with another ‘Baahubali’ film. He said, “This is not ‘Baahubali 3’, but a continuation of that world. We have made a 3D animated film called ‘Baahubali: The Eternal War’. Its teaser will be released during the intermission of ‘Baahubali: The Epic’.”The filmmaker also revealed the massive budget on which the film will be made. He shared that the planned budget is a whopping Rs 120 crore.Rajamouli further added, “Shobu Yarlagada has been working continuously on this project for over two years. Now we are making this film on a budget of Rs 120 crore.”Prabhas, who was shocked after learning the budget, joked, “120 crore? This is the planned budget for our ‘Baahubali’.

SS Rajamouli confirms third installment of ‘Baahubali’

During the same conversation, SS Rajamouli confirmed that ‘Baahubali 3’ will happen. The director said that the movie will be made in the future but didn’t give any specific time or date.

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and others, the film was released worldwide on October 31, 2025.The first installment was released in theaters on July 10, 2015. The second part of the franchise arrived in cinemas on April 28, 2017. According to the Sacnilk report, the total combined collection of the previous installments was Rs 1680.42 crore in India. The total worldwide collection grossed over Rs 2000 crore.
