Harshvardhan Rane, Sonam Bajwa’s ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has clearly proven to be a dark horse. Who would have thought that this film which will clash on Diwali with a film from the popular horror comedy universe which has been dominating at the box office, will be able to find its space against all odds. ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ had released in comparatively much lesser screens than Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Thamma. Yet it has now managed to inch closer to the Rs 70 crore mark in India. Meanwhile, it has already crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide. After making Rs 55 crore in a week’s time, ‘EDKD’ managed made Rs 2.35 crore on second Friday and then later Rs 3.15 crore, Rs 3.75 crore respectively on the second Saturday and Sunday. On Monday which is day 14, the film made Rs 1.65 crore. There was a slight growth on Tuesday, day 15 due to discounted ticket prices and it made Rs 2 crore according to Sacnilk.
