Actor Pratibha Ranta, who gained acclaim for her performance in ‘Laapataa Ladies’, India’s official entry for the Oscars 2025, has reportedly joined Kartik Aaryan in ‘Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand.’ The film is directed by ‘Fukrey’ filmmaker Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films.

However, recent developments indicate that Pratibha Ranta is now in advanced talks for the role. Sources from the production team shared that Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and the producers were keen to cast Pratibha because of her fresh screen presence and strong acting potential. She is also working on another project with Maddock Films, expected to begin in early 2026.
