Rihanna might be on hiatus from music, but one of the best Punjabi singers in the world has a plan. Diljit Dosanjh introduced Rihanna being channeled in Parineeti Chopra’s character in his throwback reel from the sets of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila,’ and the fun didn’t stop there.

In a 2024 post on Instagram, Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra featured as the characters from the film, where he played the titular role and she played his wife, Amarjot Kaur. While he was singing the songs behind the scenes, the actress humorously poked fun at him on the stage. After being a tad annoyed, the 41-year-old singer cited that it was the last day of her shoot and asked everyone to bid her goodbye with ‘Vida Karo,’ the song from the film. He said, “Ye film se nikal chuki hai, ye inka last day hai (She has completed the film. This is her last day.)” As a response, she said, “You will miss me when I’m gone.” Certainly, the crew joined, and everybody sang for her, while she bowed down with joined hands. However, the caption stole the show, as the ‘Born To Shine’ singer wrote, “Amarjot Ch Rihanna Aa Gai C 😈,” adding the release date.
