Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam action thriller ‘Vilayath Buddha’ hit theatres on November 21, 2025, and early audience reactions are already pouring in online. The film marks the directorial debut of Jayan Nambiar and is based on the acclaimed novel by G. R. Indugopan.

Initial reactions suggest that viewers are extremely impressed with the first half. While Prithviraj’s film dominates with star power, the team behind ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ — director Dinjith Ayyathan and writer-cinematographer Bahul Ramesh — have returned with ‘Eko’, which released alongside Vilayath Buddha.
