Saira Banu, his co-star in films like ‘Saazish’, ‘Pocket Maar’, and ‘Jwaar Bhata’, expressed her grief over his passing. Speaking to News18, she said, “He was like family. He was such a beautiful and handsome man! He was recovering. He was going to be off the ventilator. What do I say!”

Alongside his family, film personalities including Salim Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Agastya Nanda reached the crematorium under heavy security. Fans and well-wishers also arrived to pay their respects to the legendary actor.
