Divya Khosla Kumar often finds herself in the spotlight, whether for her career achievements or her personal life. Earlier this year, rumours of her separation from husband producer Bhushan Kumar sparked widespread media buzz. Now, several months later, Divya has put those rumours to rest, saying that she seems keen on keeping the speculation alive.
Opens up on Bollywood’s harsh reality
During a candid Reddit Ask Me Anything session, Divya didn’t hold back when speaking about the film industry. Responding to a fan who asked how she manages her mental well-being amid Bollywood’s toxicity, pressures, and beauty standards, she remarked, “How do you maintain your mental health amidst all the toxicity in Bollywood, pressure to look a certain way and many such stuff? You always seem very positive and childlike innocent to me,” Divya replied, “I myself feel that Bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around, and you feel like you have to navigate your way through it.“
Staying true to her values
She continued, “I think the most important thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work. Hota hai toh theek hai, nahi hota toh bhi theek hai (If it happens, fine. If it doesn’t happen, it’s still fine), and what’s more important is when you reach up you should have a good slate of karma to carry with you.”
Shuts down divorce rumours
During the session, one of the users asked Divya if she was divorced from Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series. Reacting to the query, Divya brushed off the rumours and said, “No, but the media really wants it.”

On the work front, Divya Khosla was last seen in Umesh Shukla’s film ‘Ek Chatur Naar’, alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh. The movie also stars Chhaya Kadam, Sushant Singh, Rajniesh Duggal, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Heli Daruwala, Rose Sardana and Geeta Agarwal Sharma. Produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh and Zeeshan Ahmad under Merry Go Round Studios and released by T-Series, ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ will hit theatres on September 12.
