Last week, local police paid a visit to Iman Shumpert’s Atlanta residence. Officers came to Shumpert’s home to resolve an alleged verbal confrontation between him and a woman named Joanna Donnejour.

Iman Shumpert has kept himself busy since leaving the NBA, taking on media roles and garnering news for both positive and negative reasons. Earlier in November, he was involved in another strange episode with an unwelcome visitor at his Atlanta home. The same lady, “Last week, I had friends over and a visitor at my residence was politely asked to leave several times after I witnessed her damaging personal property.. The police were called, invited inside and they spoke with multiple people who saw what happened. Officers end the dispute swiftly after finding no evidence against Iman Shumpert
The incident apparently began when Donnejour discovered Shumpert talking to another lady while another woman was present in the room. Donnejour revealed on police body camera footage that Shumpert was the one who lost his temper and started the argument.The case was immediately terminated on the same night after police determined that there was insufficient evidence to file charges. The officers discovered no marks on Donnejour’s body, and a witness at the scene contradicted her statements.Later, Shumpert claimed that owing to the cops, the situation was soon settled. While the cops were able to handle the problem as soon as possible, the player would not have wanted this at such a delicate time for him.
