After everyone presumed the gates for the renowned series ‘Peaky Blinders’ were closed, the notorious Birmingham gang is back again to steal the show. ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man,’ the film surrounding Thomas Shelby, will be released soon in the theatre as well as on the OTT platform.
Cillian Murphy takes on the role of Thomas Shelby
Gear up with the caps and long coats, as the Shelbys are entering a new era with no stones left unturned. Set in the 1940s, the story will chronicle the time of WWII, where Thomas will be in his self-imposed exile, and he must face his demons for the sake of his family – whether he should confront his legacy or burn it to the ground. By the orders of Peaky Blinders, the film will release on Netflix on March 20, 2026, as well as in select theatres on March 06, 2026. “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders,” writer Steven Knight said to Netflix, before adding, “It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.” As for Cillian Murphy, he dedicated the film to his fans and the viewers who watched the series. “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me,” the Academy Award-winning actor stated, before adding, “It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders.”
