Noreen reacts to Aslam’s movie portrayal

Noreen appeared on a podcast by Dialogue Pakistan, where she opened up about her thoughts on the film. She shared that her husband had admired Sanjay Dutt for years. He had become a fan after watching ‘Khalnayak’ in the 90s, and she believed that Dutt would do justice to the strong personality her husband had in real life. However, after watching the trailer, she was left disappointed. A particular dialogue deeply upset her: a character describes Aslam as the offspring of the devil and a djinn. This, according to Noreen, crossed a line.

Noreen Aslam says she may take legal steps

Speaking on the podcast, Noreen strongly objected to the words used. She said the line was insulting not just to Aslam but also to his mother. She expressed her frustration clearly, saying, “We are Muslims, and such words are disrespectful not only to Aslam but his mother, who was a simple, honest woman. If I see my husband being portrayed wrongly or any propaganda against him in the film, I will definitely take all the legal steps I can. It is strange that Indian filmmakers find no other subjects but to malign Pakistan.”

‘Dhurandhar’ Box Office collection

‘Dhurandhar’ is doing strong business in cinemas. The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office, proving its strong pull among audiences. Ranveer Singh leads the film with high energy, while Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun also play an important part in the film.
