About Akshay Kumar’s next film
As for Kumar’s professional life, the actor will be starring alongside Saif Ali Khan for Priyadarshan’s ‘Haiwaan.’ The two, who have worked in many films including ‘Aarzoo,’ ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari,’ ‘Yeh Dilagi,’ will be sharing screens after 17 years, as they last performed in ‘Tashan.’ Along with the two, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will also be playing an important role in the film. “If you’re asking me about Haiwaan, Mohanlal is there in that film. However, what character he plays, I don’t want to say right now. See, every time I make a movie, it is the story that excites me. I never think about actors,” Priyadarshan said in an interview with Pinkvilla, while discussing how two famed actors would be featuring in the screen together. Reports are also doing rounds that Akshay Kumar and Akhshaye Khanna will be reuniting after over a decade for ‘Bhagam Bhag 2.’ However, no official confirmation from the makers has been made public as of now.
