2025 has been a beautiful year for Abhishikta Bachchan. Earlier this year, he celebrated 25 years in Bollywood, and most recently, one of his and his fans’ favourite films, ‘Bluffmaster!’, turned 20. Celebrating the movie and its fond memories, Abhishek Bachchan, in his conversation with us, said, “Shooting for ‘Bluffmaster!’ was a breeze.” “We were young, reckless, and in the mood for fun. It often happens that a film is fun to make and not so much fun to watch. Luckily, we struck gold with ‘Bluffmaster,’ he continued.

During our conversation, Abhishek Bachchan delved into the elements that really worked for the movie. The actor credited the movie’s screenplay, complemented by the stellar star cast and the soundtrack that can still get men to dance in no time.‘I think the screenplay was genuinely amusing. People laugh at the jokes even now,” he said before adding, “Then there was an ensemble cast: Nana Patekarji, Riteish, Priyanka, Sanjay Mishraji, Tinu Anandji; everyone was contagiously comical. There was never a dull moment in the film.”Further, recalling the music that made an impression, he said, “We had a remix of Mehmood Saab’s ‘Sabse Bada Rupaiya’, and Geeta Duttji’s ‘Tabdeer Se Bigdi Hui’ and the title song from my Dad’s ‘Do aur Do Paanch’. This was one of the best soundtracks from my films.
Abhishek Bachchchan to work with Rohan Sippy?
Towards the end of our conversation, Abhishek Bachchan mentioned one of the reasons why the movie is so close to his heart is because it was made by his close friend, Rohan Sippy, with whom he would like to work again. “I recall Bluffmaster with a lot of fondness. More so, because it was directed by my dear friend Rohan Sippy. I hope we work together again soon,” said the actor.
