‘Stranger Things 5’ volume 2 is only hours away from being released on the hit OTT platforms. The show has garnered a massive fan following, and many have been lying in wait for the new episodes to drop online. In a recent update, the Duffer brothers have officially released the runtimes of the three upcoming episodes.
‘Stranger Things 5’ volume 2 runtime
In a social media post, Ross and Matt Duffer announced the official runtimes for the three upcoming episodes, leaving fans elated at the news. The official runtimes are as follows:Episode 5, ‘Shock Jock’ will have a runtime of 1 hour and 8 minutes. Episode 6 of the show, titled ‘Escape From Camazotz’, will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Last but not least, episode 7 ‘The Bridge’ will have an official runtime of 1hour and 6 minutes. They also revealed the runtime for the final episode of the series, which is set to release on New Year’s. ‘Stranger Things: The Finale’, episode 8, which has been titled as ‘The Rightside Up’, will have a runtime of 2 hours and 8 minutes. It had previously been confirmed that the finale would run for 3 minutes less than the now confirmed time. This has left many wondering about what had to be added to the finale of the series.

In another post made by Ross Duffer earlier this month, he provided more details about episodes 5, 6, and 7. For ‘Shock Jock’, he had shared that it would pick up right after Will becomes the sorcerer and kills three demogorgons with Vecna’s powers. He also described the episode as “far darker and far scarier” than episode 4. ‘Escape From Camazotz’ was labeled as one of the longest episodes from all three, and he also added that it made everyone cry a lot, announcing the emotional turmoil that may await fans. Lastly, ‘The Bridge’ was also said to be one of the most emotional chapters of the entire series. He shared that he did not want to spoil too much about the episode in order to keep the suspense going. The second volume will release on December 26 at 6:30 AM in India.
