Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is celebrating his 60th birthday, and to help him ring in the special day, he called over his family, closest friends, and industry insiders for a bash at his Panvel farmhouse. Among the high-profile guestlist was none other than cricket legend MS Dhoni, who arrived for the festivities with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva.Photographs and videos doing the rounds online, saw the cricketer smiling away at the fan frenzy around his arrival at the bash. And, it wasn’t long before photos of the cricketer catching up with the birthday boy began doing the rounds online.

In the photos, Dhoni was seen in an all-black outfit that he topped off with a yellow jacket, adding a stylish touch to the celebrations. In the photos, Dhoni was seen putting on his best smile for the cameras while posing alongside Salman and other attendees. Salman, marked his milestone birthday with his entire family by his side. Videos doing the rounds caputred an emotional moment when Salman placed the knife in his father Salim’s hand and cut his birthday cake, while his mother Salma Khan looked on with a smile. For his birthday, Salman cut into a large white chocolate and strawberry cake as his siblings, nephews and nieces, joined by his many guests, sang the Happy Birthday song. Salman’s brother Sohail was also seen assisting Salim and helping him stand through the cake cutting ceremony. Throughout the day, several Bollywood stars have been taking to social media to wish Salman on his birthday. New mom Katrina Kaif shared a special post for Salman writing, “Tiger Tiger Tiger! Happiest 60th birthday to the superhuman that you are. May every day be full of love and light.”Earlier in the day, the superstar’s long-time bodyguard Shera also shared a birthday message that read, “Happy 60th Birthday, My Maalik @beingsalmankhan. That’s why you’re not just a star, you’re the biggest superstar.”Anil Kapoor on the other hand, welcomed his friend Salman to the 60s club in a post that read, “Our friendship has always been simple…sometimes we meet more when we’re working on a film together, and sometimes even when we’re not. But the love and bond have always remained the same. I truly hope this friendship, this warmth we share, lasts forever. Welcome to the 60s, my friend.”On the occasion of his birthday, The makers of ‘Battle of Galwan’ unveiled the teaser of the film that stands as tribute to India’s brave soldiers. The film is based on the Galwan stand-off between India and China on June 15, 2020 which led to a hand-to-hand combat. This was said to be one of the deadliest India–China face-offs in over four decades, claiming the lives of 20.
