Recently, Chitrangda spoke about her chemistry with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and revealed what fans can expect from ‘Battle Of Galwan’ with Salman Khan.

In an interview with Firstpost, Chitrangda talked about her chemistry with Nawazuddin and said, I wish I had more chemistry (laughs). I loved it. I have been wanting to work with Nawaz for a very long time. I am so happy it finally happened. The chemistry was amazing, and also it’s important to follow what’s written. When you put two actors in a frame, that chemistry is either there or not there. Honey and everyone was very happy to see the two of us together because the equation between us was very interesting. And his character is quite powerless in front of Meera, he doesn’t leave his ground”.

When asked about taking a completely different direction with ‘Battle Of Galwan’ and what to expect, the actress replied, “You can expect a commercial heroine completely doing the song and dance (laughs). There are a lot of strong performance scenes from my character. I’m really looking forward to it.”

‘Battle of Galwan’ is a war drama based on the 2020 India-China clash in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley, starring Salman Khan as Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the brave officer from the 16 Bihar Regiment who lost his life in the skirmish. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film features intense hand-to-hand combat scenes without guns, blending raw patriotism, soldier sacrifices, and action, with Chitrangda Singh in a pivotal role. Production kicked off in Ladakh in July 2025; the film is expected to hit the big screen on Eid 2026.
