Chris Hemsworth has officially dropped the second ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ trailer. This one is a stark contrast from the hopeful clip, featuring Chirs Evans as Captain America. This time, Thor, the God of Thunder, features front and centre, with a darker, more emotional tone, a welcome change from his turn in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
Thor’s epic monologue
The newly released trailer opens with Thor alone in a forest, kneeling in prayer, presumably before he heads into battle. With visible tear stains on his face, he delivers a powerful monologue, saying, “Father… all my life, I have answered every call… to honour, duty, to war. But now fate has given me something I never sought… a child, a life untouched by the storm. Lend me the strength of All-Fathers so that I may fight once more. Defeat one more enemy and return home to her. Not as a warrior, but as warmth. To teach her not battle, but stillness. The kind that I had never known. Please Father, heed my words.”

Sharing the trailer on social media, directors Joe and Anthony Russo teased a grim plot set to unfold. They shared the trailer with the caption, “When even a god has to pray for strength…”
