The news of the stars welcoming their second baby, was confirmed by Hiddleston in a recent profile published by GQ. While the dad of two did not disclose the name or sex of the newborn, as per the report, Ashton gave birth shortly before Tom’s sister welcomed a baby of her own.

Zawe Ashton announces pregnancy
Zawe announced her pregnancy early this year, ahead of her appearance at the London premiere of Hiddleston’s film ‘The Life of Chuck’ on June 7. The actress, who welcomed her first child in 2022, said in an interview with Vogue, “I feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and who’s been such a champion of me at this sensitive red-carpet dressing moment. I feel like I’ll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed.“Both Ashton, and Hiddleston, have kept their family life private and have chosen not to reveal the names of their children. The couple have even kept their relationship status under wraps. Buzz about an engagement began doing the rounds after Ashton was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the 2022 BAFTA Awards. Hiddleston later confirmed their engagement in a June 2022 interview.

The happy news of Hiddleston’s baby’s arrival comes as the actor gears up for his next big MCU release – ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Speaking to GQ, the actor opened up about reprising his role as Loki and confirmed that he had completed filming. “The centre of the story is absolutely brilliant, and was so surprising when I read it. It just has never been done before,” Hiddleston told the magazine.The actor portrayed Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade, beginning with ‘Thor’ in 2011. He has gone on to play the character in 3 ‘Thor’ movies, ‘Avengers’ films and even had his stand-alone series. His most recent big-screen appearance as the character was in 2023’s ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’.
