Nawazuddin Siddiqui reveals that all girls were Akshaye Khanna fans |

Over 30 years Akshaye Khanna has delivered stellar performances with films like Border 2, Race, Humraaz, Drishyam 2, Chhaava and most recently Dhurandhar. Though it was his act as Rehman Dakait in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandar which made everyone sit up and notice his talent and stardom in the truest sense. What his performance has done is all his fans are not out in public sharing one gem after another from his past interviews. In a clip that is now going viral on social media has him sharing space with Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for their film Mom. In this conversation with NDTV Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed that one point when he was not married, he would approach a lot of girls and just like his acting career he was getting rejections everywhere. And out of exhaustion he ended up asking the girls what kind of boy do they want and the answer came Akshaye Khanna. Talking about it he said , “ All the girls at that time were Akshaye Khanna fans. I asked them , what is so special about him? Someone would talk about his smile , someone would talk about his eyes etc . So he had a very big fan following among girls.” Despite his amazing fan following, Akshaye still remains a sworn bachelor. He’s been in the news recently not only for Dhurandhar but also for exiting Drishyam 3 , producer Kumar Mangat Pathak in an interview stated that Akshaye backed out at the last minute. He mentioned that Akshaye had liked the script and they had even negotiated his fees but 10 days before the shoot , he decided to not be part of the film. Jaideep Ahlawat has been roped in for the role that Akshaye was supposed to play.Akshaye would be reportedly next seen in Sunny Deol’s Border 2.
