‘Border 2’ is slowly building strong excitement among fans. Varun Dhawan, who is part of the much-awaited war drama, shared new pictures from the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ on his social media.

Varun Dhawan shared a series of stills from the song Ghar Kab Aaoge on his Instagram handle.The song is releasing today in Jaisalmer. There were some reports earlier saying that composer Anu Malik did not get proper credit for the recreation of the song. Anu Malik has now cleared everything with a statement as reported by NDTV. He said,“Putting recent misinformation to rest, singer-composer Anu Malik released the following statement on the song Ghar Kab Aaoge’ from highly anticipated movie Border 2. I would like to clarify about the song Ghar Kab Aaoge that Bhushan ji has already credited me with immense warmth and respect. This is a unique collaboration that I am genuinely proud of, and I have also shared my thoughts publicly across my social media platforms. Any reports suggesting otherwise are based on incorrect reporting. I stand by this collaboration with pride and gratitude.”
Song details and film release
The teaser of ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ was released earlier. It featured voices of Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh. The song is based on the original version composed by Anu Malik. The music has been recreated by Mithoon for ‘Border 2’. The lyrics include new lines written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla along with the original lyrics by Javed Akhtar. The film stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty. It is set to release on January 23, 2026.
