Early career highlights
Neil first appeared on screen as a child actor in the 1988 film Vijay, followed by Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni in 1989. He made his official lead debut in 2007 with Johnny Gaddaar, where he played the central character. He later featured in successful films such as New York, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Golmaal Again and Saaho. He also marked his entry into Tamil cinema with Kaththi and Telugu cinema with Kavacham.
Latest film project
On the work front, Neil was most recently seen alongside Divya Khosla in the black comedy thriller Ek Chatur Naar. The film was written by Himanshu Tripathi and directed by Umesh Shukla. Set in a quirky small-town Indian milieu, the story follows a seemingly innocent woman whose childlike façade conceals sharp intelligence.
OTT series role
In the digital space, Neil starred in Hai Junoon! Dream. Dare. Dominate., directed by Abhishek Sharma. Set at Mumbai’s Anderson’s College, the series revolves around ambition and competition, following underdog dancer Sebi and his Misfits team as they take on the elite Supersonics group, led by music star Gagan, in the high-stakes “GOAT” contest.
