Amidst that, here’s recalling the time when Prabhas jokingly accused Karan Johar of starting rumours of relationship with Anushka. Prabhas appeared on ‘Koffee with Karan‘ with Rana Daggubati and SS Rajamouli. During the episode, Karan playfully prodded Prabhas about his personal life and specifically asked whether he was romantically involved with Anushka.The question left Prabhas laughing uncontrollably before he shot back with, “You started the rumour!” The unexpected comeback took Karan by surprise and soon had everyone on the couch along with guests SS Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati laughing along.Prabhas once again clarified that his bond with Anushka was just due to a long-standing friendship and they were simply comfortable around each other. He said, “If two people work for two years, certainly they are attached. I wasn’t, though, going out with Anushka. Ask Raj if you want to know.” Backing him up, Rana Daggubati firmly stated that the pair was “not dating.”Adding humour to the conversation, Karan pointed out that Anushka had portrayed both Prabhas’ wife and his mother in the Baahubali films. Prabhas instantly quipped, “Exactly! See, how can I date her?” drawing laughter from everyone present.Rajamouli also chimed in with a light-hearted observation about Prabhas’ personal life, joking that he often wondered whether the actor would ever settle down. “To go through the entire process of searching for the girl, preparing the invitations, inviting everybody, and the functions, it’s too much. He is too lazy to get married,” Rajamouli said in jest.At various points, the persistent rumours even snowballed into marriage speculation. However, both actors have consistently shut these down.
