State BJP presidents felicitates Ramgarh youth for ‘rescuing’ missing Dhurwa kids | Ranchi News

Ramgarh: A day after he was elected the state BJP president, Aditya Sahu on Thursday travelled to Chitarpur in Ramgarh district and felicitated three men, who the party claimed had rescued the missing Dhurwa kids, for their bravery.Sahu felicitated Sunny Nayak, Sachin Prajapati and Dablu Sahu — in Bazartand in Ramgarh after offering prayers at the Chinnamastika temple in Rajrappa. Talking to media later, Sahu said, “When the police and state authorities failed to locate the whereabouts of two kids for 12 days, these three Bajrang Dal activists used the power of social media to trace children and inform their parents and the local police. I feel privileged to felicitate such heroes. Our activists are real social workers,” Sahu claimed.Sunny (28), who hails from Nayak Tola near Bazartand in Chitarpur. He owned a mobile shop which got shut three years ago. He said, “A nomadic man, who once lived in Chitarpur and frequently visited his shop for phone recharges, had contacted him to rent a house a week ago. The man had come to the market with a woman and two children and said that he got married after he left Chitarpur. I turned suspicious because three years ago he was unmarried, and now he is the father of 5-year-old children.”He added that they suspected if the kids could be the one who went missing from Ranchi.Later, he approached his close friends Sachin and Dablu. They began to track the couple and zeroed in about the kids, who were kept in Ahmadnagar in Chitarpur. They planned to visit Ahmadnagar, Chitarpur, early on Wednesday. They barged into the house and made a video call to the parents of the children in Ranchi. After the parents identified the children, they alerted Rajrappa police.Bhanu Prakash Mahto, a local mukhiya, who is known to the three youths, said that the couple wanted to shift the children to another house near the highway near Bazartand in Chitarpur due to intensified police search but got busted.
