Drunk patient goes berserk at North Goa district hospital | Goa News

Mapusa: Luis Savio Rodrigues, 29, a Sangolda resident, was arrested for creating a ruckus at North Goa district hospital on Thursday. He was brought to the hospital having injured in an accident, police said, and allegedly in an inebriated state went on a rampage in the casualty ward.Rodrigues allegedly stripped off his shirt and hurled abuses at the medical staff. He then turned aggressive, smashing medical equipment and throwing items across the ward. Doctor who were attending to other patients were forced to scramble for safety as Rodrigues continued misbehaviour.After the medical administration lodged a complaint, police placed Rodrigues under arrest.
