NEW DELHI: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed disapproval over the recent inclusion of Ajit Pawar’s faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) into the BJP-Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra.
In an article published in the latest issue of Organiser, the RSS’s official publication, the move was labeled as a poorly considered decision that has caused distress among the BJP’s grassroots workers.
This critique comes on the heels of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks concerning the absence of political propriety during the Lok Sabha election campaign.
The article in Organiser has highlighted the discontent within the BJP’s ranks, suggesting that the party’s leadership may have overlooked the sentiments of its dedicated cadre while forging the alliance with Pawar’s NCP faction.
