Ryan Reynolds says he is not rushing back into more Deadpool content, even after the huge success of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ in 2024. The actor, who helped turn the Merc with a Mouth into one of the most popular superhero characters on screen, said he has written ideas he likes but does not want to move too fast. His comments come as fans continue to wonder whether Deadpool will appear in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ which is less than eight months away from release.

I’m not in any huge rush right now to do anything,” he told Collider. The actor also explained why he does not want to flood audiences with new Deadpool projects. “Deadpool works best on both scarcity and surprise, so jumping right back into it full on right now is probably something I’m not going to do,” Reynolds said.
