While Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan are often positioned as competitors in Bollywood’s superstar race, the reality off-screen is quite different. At a recent event, Aamir put rumours of rivalry to rest by expressing deep admiration for both Salman and Shah Rukh, naming some of their performances that have stayed with him over the years.Speaking about his favourite roles by the two Khans, Aamir said, “My favourite performance of Salman’s is Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dabangg. As for Shah Rukh, I really loved Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of my favourite films of his. I haven’t seen his recent films Pathaan and Jawan.”The actor-filmmaker also spoke about the much-discussed possibility of a collaboration featuring all three Khans. Aamir shared that he had discussed the idea with both Salman and Shah Rukh and feels that a film with all of them together is long overdue.
“Salman, Shah Rukh, and I would love to work together… We are waiting for the right script to come. I think the audience also wants to see us together, and we have discussed it as well. If any good story comes (our way), we will definitely do it.”What’s next for the Khans?Aamir Khan is currently gearing up for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh.
