Aishwarya Rai Bachchan paid sweet tribute to her late father Krishnaraj Rai, on his birth anniversary. The actress took to her handle to share a deeply personal tribute of love to her late father, and also posted a set of then and now photographs featuring Aaradhya Bachchan. The photos not only gives fans a glimpse of the bond they shared, but also highlighted three generations in one frame.

The actor posted previously unseen images of Aaradhya holding on to her doting grandfather who carried her in his arms. In the pics the little one also reached out to plant a kiss on his cheeks. Ash also added much newer photos from her daughter’s 14th birthday. In the pictures, the birthday girl and Ash are seen deep in thought as they offered prayers before Krishnaraj’s portrait.
Ash’s heartfelt note
Along with the images, Aishwarya penned a heartfelt note celebrating her father’s enduring presence in their lives. She wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest Daddy-Ajjaaa. our Guardian Angel, Love you eternally. Thanking you for ALL your infinite love and blessings as our Aaradhya turned 14.”
About Krishnaraj’s demise
After her father’s passing in 2017, Aishwarya has made it a tradition to honour his birth anniversary by spending time at her home and reaching out to the poor. In 2018, Aishwarya’s father, Krishnaraj Rai, passed away on March 18, 2017, at a Mumbai Hospital.

The Bollywood actress’ post comes just a day after she was hailed online for her inspiring speech at the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. She said that the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba continue to reverberate in the hearts of millions, and called upon people to rededicate themselves to Baba’s divine message of ‘love all, serve all’.“As we celebrate 100 years of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s blessed advent, may we all rededicate ourselves to his divine message – love all serve all. There is only one caste – the caste of humanity. There is only one religion – the religion of love. There is only one language – the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent,” she said while addressing the audience.
