Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ mints its lowest collection on 3rd Monday; earns just Rs 60 lakh | Hindi Movie News

Date:

In an impressive feat, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ has crossed the Rs 100 crore threshold, securing his 15th entry into this elite box office club. This hit film adds to a successful year for the actor, which includes titles like ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Housefull 5’. Though the film’s momentum slowed on its third Monday, it remains in theaters.

Akshay Kumar is ending the year 2025 on a good note as Jolly LLB 3 became his 15th film to enter Rs 100 crore and after many years he has had a strong year with his releases like Sky Force, Kesari 2 and Housefull 5. The film directed by Subash Kapoor and also featuring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla went on to mint Rs 74 crore in Week 1 and Rs 29 crore in Week 2. Over the third weekend the film added another Rs 5.05 crore to its kitty, taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 108.05 crore. But on its third Monday, the film collected its lowest ever collection. It earned just Rs 60 lakh, taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 108.65 crore. The film has been severely impacted by the release of Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 which minted more than Rs 250 crore in just 5 days out of which Hindi version has contributed more than Rs 82 crore. Monday’s collection was the first time in 18 days that the film’s collection fell below Rs 1 crore mark. But it in no way means that the theatrical run of the film is on its last leg. But one thing can be accounted for is that the film now has only an outside chance to cross the lifetime collection of Jolly LLB 2’s collection of Rs 117 crore. The chance is there only because no other big film is releasing till the Diwali weekend which will see two films Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma and Harshvardhan Rane- Sonam Bajwa’sEk Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. There are other releases like Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha and Tron:Ares but they are not expected to do a major shakedown on existing releases.
