Alia Bhatt joins hands with NCB

Last week, the NCB posted a video of Alia Bhatt on their X (formerly Twitter) handle. In the short clip, she urged people to say no to drugs and show support for the bureau’s mission.The video was shared more than 680 times and crossed 1.1 million views. The caption on the post read, “Alia Bhatt joins hands with NCB to spread the message of a #DrugsFreeBharat #NashaMuktBharat #azadifromdrugs.”

In the video, the ‘Brahmastra’ actress said, “Hello friends, I am Alia Bhatt. Today I want to talk about a very serious issue of drug addiction and how it’s becoming a threat to our life, society, and nation. Support the Narcotics Control Bureau in this special campaign against drugs. Say yes to life and no to drugs. Comments turned off after mean comments on Alia’s video

The post received only six comments before the option to reply was removed. At the same time, the comment sections on all other NCB Chandigarh posts remained active. Despite the restrictions, trolls continued to mock the video using the ‘quote-tweet’ option. Many found the video ‘ironic’ and even called it ‘funny’.
