A recent picture from the couple’s mehendi ceremony has been shared on social media and it features besties Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor.
The two stars are snapped posing with celebrated Mehendi artist Veena Nagda, flaunting their minimalistic designs.For the henna ritual, Ananya Panday opted for a royal purple lehenga and statement jewellery. She had her fingertips adorned with mehendi and also got an intricate circle designed at the centre of her palm. Shanaya Kapoor stunned in a peachy traditional ensemble which she paired with glittering jewels. She opted for a mandala design on the back of her hand with layered tips. Nita Ambani opted for a unique Mehendi design for the wedding, highlighting the names of her family members – Anant, Radhika, Isha and husband Anand Piramal, son Akash and his wife Shloka Mehta along with husband Mukesh Ambani.

On the work front, Ananya Panday will soon mark her OTT debut with ‘Call Me Bae’. This web series The eight-part series will be released on September 6 and also stars an ensemble cast comprising Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. Meanwhile, Shanaya Kapoor was to debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Bedhadak’ alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada in lead roles. However, she will now embark on her acting journey with ‘Vrushabha’, a Malayalam actioner starring Mohanlal in the lead role.
