Babil Khan recently took to his social media account to talk about the time he used to spend with his late father, Irrfan Khan. Notably, today marks Irrfan Khan’s 59th birth anniversary.
Babil Khan shares throwback photos with Irrfan Khan
Babil Khan took to his social media to remember his childhood moments. Posted along with the caption “Pictures of you. Pictures of me. (I used to say “sofa mode activated” before I jumped on him and fell asleep on his back),” Babil shared a throwback photo from his childhood. The first photo showed an old photo of Irrfan Khan lying on his stomach, with Babil lying on his back. Both of them are seen lying on a striped mat, looking relaxed. The two are surrounded by household items and a few pillows as they seem to relax and spend time together. The second photo showed the father-son duo standing face to face with a serious expression on their face. The photo seems to have been taken outdoors, with the background softly blurred out. He also shared another post on his account in collaboration with other people, that looked back on Irrfan Khan’s legacy in Indian cinema. The video was posted along with the caption, “loquent eyes of his silent righteousness 🍂Remembering Irrfan on his birth anniversary🤍#irrfan #thenostalgiccinephile.”The actor had taken a break from social media; however, earlier made his return in October 2025. He shared a series of photos of himself wearing a brick red coloured sweater.
