Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have entered a new phase of their lives. The couple announced on Sunday that they have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The news instantly flooded social media with love and wishes from friends, colleagues, and fans alike.Sharing the announcement on Instagram, the couple wrote, “He’s finally here! Our baby boy. And we can’t remember life before.” They added, “Arms full, our hearts fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything… with gratitude, Parineeti & Raghav.”
Parineeti once said she wanted ‘lots of children ’
Interestingly, Parineeti had once revealed in an old interview that she wished to have a big family and was open to adoption. “I’d love to adopt a child. I want to have lots of children. I might not be able to conceive all of them, so I’ll adopt,” she had said, years before becoming a mother herself.The actress had also shared her views on love and relationships, admitting that she’s not fond of typical romantic gestures. “I don’t like cliched romances. I don’t like the gifts and flowers nonsense. I hate when boys offer to take me out for dinner. I’ll slap them. I like it simple. You come to my house or I’ll come to yours, we’ll sit, watch TV and order pizza,” Parineeti had said.
From wedding bliss to motherhood
Parineeti and Raghav got engaged on May 13, 2023, at New Delhi’s Kapurthala House and tied the knot in a grand yet intimate ceremony on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. In August this year, the couple announced their pregnancy through a joint post.Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Emmy-nominated biopic Amar Singh Chamkila and is next set to star alongside Tahir Raj Bhasin in a series directed by Rensil D’Silva.
